There's Still Nothing Like the DMV, Even Here

One of our first stops was the DMV. It was one room, and the state troopers bunked across the hall.


Just as in other DMVs across the nation, love, happiness, and harmony permeated the very air. (Despite subtle hints to the contrary, they actually were pretty nice.)


Here's an added bonus. Al Capone's successor, Nanny J., standing outside the DMV with her El Camino.

    1. It stands for Department of Motor Vehicles. It's where you go to register a new car, get your license plates taken care of, etc. :)
